Throughout the Summer and into the early Winter the Bridlington Old Town is the place to be for a Great Bridlington Day out at a spectacular Festival.

Secret Gardens

22nd and 23rd June 2019

The quaint streets and alleyways of the Bridlington Old Town are perfect for exploring the Secret Gardens.

The Gardens range from terrific topiary to Small Holdings with hens and geese.

But one thing is for sure, you are assured a Great Bridlington and Dads Army Walmington welcome.

Summer 1940's Festival

9th June 2019

To celebrate the new Dads Army movie released in 2016 the theme for the Summer Festival is the 1940s.

The Summer Festival in the Old Town in 2016 and 2017 were magnificent days with all sorts of entertainment for all of the family.

In November 2014 the Bridlington Old Town and many areas around Bridlington, Flamborough and Beverley were transformed into Walmington on Sea for the making of the Dads Army movie. As such the Summer Festival is to be a celebration of all things 1940's and Dads Army stylee.

Festive Fridays

December 2019

Traditionally there has been a wonderful Dickensian Festival in late November. The team who put the festivals together in the Bridlington Old Town are having a break.

However there will still be plenty to do and see especially with the Festive Fridays being organised with the "Destination Old Town" Group. Check out the DOT Bridlington Page for more information.
